With the administration of 300,000 IU of cholecalciferol four days before surgical removal of lower third molars, a significant reduction in postoperative edema and inflammatory responses was reported, resulting in a more favorable clinical course.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><h2><span id=\"D_Vitamini_Dis_Curugu_Dis_Kaybi_Iliskisi\">Vitamin D, Tooth Decay, Tooth Loss Relationship<\/span><\/h2><p>It is an indicator of vitamin D and\/or vitamin K2 deficiency.<br \/>Tooth loss is normally an indication of vitamin D deficiency. For dental health, the blood vitamin D level should be above 50ng\/ml.
