Mock Up

What is a Mock Up?

The application we call mock-up is the process of temporarily bonding and shaping composite materials produced specifically for this purpose to the tooth surface without any bonding process to the tooth. Direct mock-up application takes approximately 10-15 minutes. This is a preliminary rehearsal. After the mock-up, another photograph is taken from the patient. Thus, the physician has the chance to explain all the details regarding the treatment concretely through this study. Visual; provides serious contribution to the diagnosis and treatment limits.

Mock-Up is a concrete way of communication between patient and physician.
Patients see their new smiles holistically and directly on their own faces without having to imagine them. They get more ideas about the treatment and can even describe their expectations more easily through the mock-up application. Therefore, changes can be made to the mock-up. The color, form, position and relationship of the teeth to other elements on the face are determined before the treatment begins. Thus; the anxiety of what kind of teeth will be made at the beginning of the treatment and the disappointment that may be experienced at the end of the treatment are completely eliminated. In short, the mock-up is a concrete way of communication between the patient and the doctor.

Our patients can also take this mock-up image from their own phones. They can get the opinions of their friends and relatives. Since there are differences in decision-making between people and temperaments, the decision-making process is also specific to the person. If the aim of an aesthetic smile design is the happiness of the person, it definitely ensures that our patients are completely sure of some details during the decision-making phase. Maybe the person only needs teeth whitening and the "Hollywood Smile" does not meet their expectations. Therefore, the time spent with MOCK UP and mock is important.
