What is the Same-Day Crowns Concept?

Basically, the teeth in one day concept is a treatment procedure in which we reunite our patients who have lost their teeth or will lose them in that session with their teeth within hours and send them off from our clinic.

In what cases is the One-Day Teeth Concept applied?

The concept of teeth in one day covers a wide range from crowning a single tooth of our patients to our completely edentulous patients regaining all their teeth in one day.

How to Implement the Teeth in a Day Concept?

It would be easier to explain this concept by considering several options.

1. Patients with Teeth or Old Fixed Prosthesis in Their Mouth

In these patients, we first prepare the teeth we will treat for the new prosthesis by removing the old veneers or by grinding the tooth. After the preparation phase is completed, we obtain a virtual 3D model by taking digital measurements with intraoral scanners. We design the prostheses we will prepare using digital software. Then, we provide the production of the veneers we designed using the engraving devices in our clinic. After completing the finishing and coloring processes, we complete our treatment by sticking the prostheses to our patients' mouths.

2. Patients with One or More Missing Teeth

In these patients, we first plan how to correct the deficiency. If we are going to treat with a fixed prosthesis in the form of a bridge, our treatment protocol covers the same process as patients with teeth.

In patients whose edentulism we will treat with implants, we first place our implants. At this stage, digitally prepared surgical plates can help us and make the process easier. Then, we take our digital measurements using digital scanning parts and move on to the production stage. And within a few hours, we complete our treatment by screwing our prostheses to the implants. In this application, we prefer screwed prostheses, eliminating the possibility of adhesive residues getting around the implant and causing bone destruction.

3. Patients Who Are Completely Edentulous or Candidates for Completely Edentulous

We are making a preliminary preparation to apply this concept to these patients. Before the implant application, we prepare a surgical plate and a temporary prosthesis as an impression and bite record for our patients on our examination day. Then, on the day of the operation, we extract any teeth that need to be extracted, place our implants with the help of a surgical plate, and complete our treatment by screwing our prosthesis onto the implants.

What is the Aim of the Teeth in a Day Concept?

By using this protocol, we reduce the time our patients spend without teeth to hours and eliminate interim sessions. In this way, we aim to reduce the time our patients spend in the clinic and allow them to spend more time for the rest of their lives.
