What is the All on Four Concept?
The All-on-Four technique is a treatment technique in which we prepare dentures on straight and angled implants for our patients who have lost all their teeth and fix them on the same day and send our patients home with their teeth on the same day.
Efficient Solution: It accelerates the process of full jaw restoration.
Stability Provides a secure base for dentures.
Aesthetic Improvement: Provides a natural looking smile.
Long Lasting: Permanent solution for missing teeth.
Advanced Comfort: It increases comfort compared to traditional prostheses.
Procedure
All on Four treatment begins with a detailed evaluation and planning. The surgical phase involves strategically placing implants into the jawbone, followed by a healing period for osseointegration. The final phase involves fitting and adjusting the prosthetic teeth to provide a comfortable and functional bite.

What is the All on Four Concept?
The All-on-Four technique is a treatment technique in which we prepare dentures on straight and angled implants for our patients who have lost all their teeth and fix them on the same day and send our patients home with their teeth on the same day.
Why Do We Do All on Four?
When we lose all our teeth, the only thing we lose is not the teeth themselves. Along with tooth loss, there is also a serious loss in the amount of bone surrounding the tooth. Bone loss is one of the factors that directly affects the number of implants we can place and their locations.
Another factor that limits implant placement, along with tooth loss, is the anatomical structures such as the sinuses and nerve structures in our jawbones. With bone loss, these anatomical structures become more superficial and we need to use advanced surgical techniques to place implants without damaging these structures. The general health status of our patients, prolonged treatment periods, and increasing treatment costs can sometimes prevent the use of these techniques.
In such cases, we use this technique because it allows us to place our implants in an inclined manner and make implant-supported prostheses for our patients very quickly.
Are the Teeth Fixed in the All-on-Four Technique?
In this technique, we prepare permanent prostheses for our patient on the first day, depending on the temporary situation, within a period of 3-6 months. In this technique, all of the temporary and permanent prostheses we use are prepared as fixed prostheses. In other words, our patient leaves the clinic with his fixed teeth on the day of the operation and completes the entire subsequent process with fixed teeth.
Who Can Apply All on Four?
It can be safely applied to all patients who have no teeth in their mouth, have sufficient bone volume, and do not have a systemic disease that may prevent implant application.
In addition, thanks to today's developing treatment options, this procedure can be performed on individuals with controlled systemic diseases with the approval of their physician.
How Does the Treatment Process Work in the All on Four Technique?
In our patients who will be treated with this technique, an application plan is created using the imaging and intraoral records taken during their first examination, and the preparation of the patient's temporary teeth begins. If the patient has old dentures at the beginning of the treatment, these dentures can be arranged and used as temporary dentures.
After the temporary teeth are prepared, the day for implant placement is determined and on the day the implants are placed, the temporary teeth are fixed in the mouth and our patients leave the clinic with their fixed teeth.
Does Pain Occur During the Procedures?
In routine applications, implant placement procedures are performed under local anesthesia in a clinical environment. In this way, there is no pain during the procedure. After the procedure, when the effect of the anesthesia begins to wear off, there may be slight tingling and small swellings, but these tinglings are small enough to be controlled with painkillers.
Especially in cases where a surgical guide is used, these discomforts are almost non-existent, and it is possible for patients to continue their normal lives after leaving the clinic on the day of the operation.
How Should All on Four Dentures Be Maintained?
All-on-four dentures are fixed dentures placed on implants. The cleaning of these dentures is very important as with all dentures.
