In implant applications, the area is surgically opened for the implant to be placed, and after the implant is placed, it is closed with stitches and the healing process is waited. Thanks to developing imaging methods and precise production techniques, we perform implant applications without surgically opening the area in suitable cases.

How is Seamless Implant Treatment Applied?

In this treatment protocol, the quality and quantity of the bone are evaluated with the three-dimensional imaging method and the jaws are modeled with the intraoral scans of our patients. Then, we prepare a personalized surgical guide for our patients by superimposing this data in a digital environment. This preparation guides the opening of the implant socket and the placement of the implant without the need for surgical opening of the area during implant operations.

What is the Advantage of Seamless Implant Application Compared to the Traditional Method?

Since the area is not surgically opened, the healing process is much easier. Post-operative pain and swelling are almost never observed.

In addition, thanks to the planning made according to the 3D form of the bone, the implants are placed in the ideal position.

We can apply it to all our patients who do not need to make any adjustments to their bone tissue and whose general health condition does not prevent us from placing implants.

What Should We Pay Attention to After Sutureless Implant Application?

After the operation, we place a sterile sponge as a tampon to control bleeding in that area. You should bite the sponge we placed for 30 minutes. You should not use any other product instead of tampons. Using materials such as cotton or tissue in particular can cause bleeding and infection.

To avoid bleeding after the implant application, you should not spit or gargle throughout the day. You should be careful not to consume hot or acidic beverages on the day of the procedure. If you smoke, it is very important that you do not smoke, especially for the first three days, for the area to heal healthily.

Do not eat or drink anything for at least 2 hours after the operation. Do not use the implanted side when chewing food. You should avoid alcohol for 48 hours after the implant operation.

You should use the medications in the prescription we have written, following all recommendations. You should avoid taking a hot shower and doing sports on the day of the operation.

Do not poke the implanted area with your finger or toothpick etc.

Keeping the area clean is very important for the healing to occur without any problems. After the first day, the area should be brushed gently and the recommended mouthwashes should be used.
